writing the values out to a file in the AE format ( <tab>frame<tab>value)
then giving the text file to someone who has a brain twisted enough to
understand After Effects.

we've just found here that no, the fov doesn't import into AE. Seems to be
in the file but it doesn't get to AE.

I never tried animating the FOV, but I did find that I had to multiply it by
0.7. I am not sure why .7 but it seemed to work in my case.
