Construction modes are for stablishing order of operators in the history
you can animate even on modeling mode.

if you want your geometry to sync with the current mode, ie. not deform by envelope
on animation stack, then youll have to do it in your viewport.

where you change display mode for the viewport [wireframe, hidden line, etc.]
theres construction mode display, change it to sync with current mode

so from now on if you have your construction mode on modeling, your envelopes
wont show on that viewport if you have them on animation stack.

hope it helps

Hello, I seem to have a problem my model is animating even though I am in
"model" (the construction mode) as well as the "animate" (construction
mode" why is this? Typically the model does not animate when in the
construction mode of "model" !!!

Thank You
