Subject : (OT) Samba Memory Leak
Hi All,

A quick question here - someone may have come across this - I have a Redhat 9.0 server running - with a bunch or XP machines - Workstations and render machines - attached to it.  I am running the Samba that installs with Redhat 9.0.  Now I have noticed after a little while the Linux Machine starts to bog down - move the mouse it it feels bogged down.  I investigated and found that Samba is accepting connections and the RAM usage is slowly climbing higher and higher, until it sits at full RAM and starts to swap.  Anyone know how to get around this problem?  My Server has 2 GB Ram!

Thanks

Sandy
