i left max because they tried to make me pay alomst twice as much for
max as americans have to. (instead of 3500$ its 5000Euro here).
when i asked for the xsi price it was a fairly good conversation from
$US to euro.
i cant say anything about the maintenance contract (have doubts about
that anyway) but the base price strategy is SO much more honest
compared to autodesk. a $30 difference...hehe.. with max its $2500 ;)
