Currently the only way to get the display mode in a callback is to get
it from the camera.displaymode parameter ,unfortunatly.

Or, like you say, assign one callback per mode.

mode

Hi,

Is there a fast way to get the 3d view's display mode ( wireframe,
constant, shaded ) in a display callback, i.e. not from the
scene->camera->displaymode parameter?

Is the suggested way to set up one callback per mode, is this
information somewhere in the state data or are there any other options?

Thanks,
F.
