.fbx for v4.2 working for v5?

Subject : .fbx for v4.2 working for v5?
Has anyone had any issues importing .fbx models that were created in
v4.2 into v5? I'm wanting to get a bunch of video game models I created
in .fbx format all into one scene. I am using the v4.2 .fbx plugin for
v5 since I couldn't find a v5 plugin anywheres on Alias' site. I dropped
the .xsiaddon to the interface and the .fbx import/export options showed
up in the file menu so I was hoping that the plugin would work.
Unfortunately, my .fbx models will come in right the first or second
import...but after that they come in with parts hidden or just not there
at all, as well as having pieces of the model jumbled throughout the
scene. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have quite a few
models so manually importing them one at a time, converting to .emdl,
exporting..only to have to reimport them all back in seems like a lot of
work. Thanks!
