In a surprise move today, Autodesk announced a buyout of the 3rd dimension. When members of the time-space continuum expressed concern over potential spatial conflicts, they were assured by Autodesk executives that current realms of existence would remain as separate products of existence. However, it is expected that the next year will see some merging of owned assets as width and depth are most likely be merged into a single new dimension called "wipth." This acquisition comes as a surprise to many industry insiders who were speculating that Apple would ultimately purchase the third dimension, which would complement their takeover of time 20 months ago.
