With HD TV, the user interaction and  rendering speed will become a very important point for comp. applications. XSI Fx tree seems very good on this side,  and I use it more and more, but we all know it lacks some features.

I also use Fusion 4 in production. I'm wondering how is the speed in 2K format with Fusion 5 compared to Shake ?

...and with Fusion 5, I will not touch the current XSI particles system ever again (I hope...)

Nothing to see?
We've had a demo of 5.0 earlier this year and we finally found an alternative to Shake! We quite were impressed.
We've also seen Toxik, which will become a serious candidate in a few months/years. It's still has to mature a little.
