Over the years I've worked with regular GeForce cards most of the time
without ANY problems at all.
Right now I'm sitting in front of a workstation with a QuadroFX, but to be
honest, I can't spot any differences regarding speed and stability.
So in my opinion it's a far better choice to buy the half-priced gaming
cards and invest the remaining money in e.g. more RAM, etc.

As far as i'm aware no geforce cards are supported for xsi which means if
you have any card related problems the first thing anyone will say is....
geforce cards aren't supported, besides you shouldn't have time left to
play
games - get on with yer work ;-)

Hello I have a question, does it make a difference getting a
QuadroFX\FireGL over just using a Geforce FX\6.xxx series card in 3D
if your intention is to never play games or is it equal the two or is
there a difference?
thankyou
Christopher
