I just learned that you cannot bypass the random assignment of instances to particles. I truly hope this will change in the future. Till then I was wondering if there is a way to know what the random order will be.

I see that the random assignment does repeat. So in a group of 5 object you may get something like 2,4,1,5,3,2,4,1,5,3,2,4,1,5,3

What I would like to do is find out what the random order will be and basically put that in a look up table to match the particles to the objects in the proper order.

I'm hoping someone can chime in and shed some light on how to control group instancing assignment. The SDK seems to fade off into a dirt road on this stuff.
