They probably had a good budget to start with, and probably someone of the advert company or the marketing division did a good job convincing the decision makers that spending this budget on live action would give a better result than faking it in CG.

From our point of view, as 3D professionals this is probably weird,
as it does seem like a good case for CG, a nothing that any high end
3D house wouldnt be able to pull off.
it would be interesting to see a comparative budget for doing this
live and doing it CG, might be revealing.

And does it look better in the end?
I'm not convinced of that seeing this spot.


I found it quite boring...
the only interesting shot is the one with the frog.
