I can't render in passes, because of time constraints... and also the output resolution in very strange.. so it's is difficult to composite !!!

BTW,

Can anyone explain me why glows dissapear when they are too small. I can't find the value to avoid it.  Until now the only solution I found is to render al twice the size and resize when doing comp scale.

thats only if you stay away from the sphere,
when you go close like the example image it wont do for an atmosphere.

alex, would you mind telling why you want to avoid doing a seperate pass or post at all costs?

Nope I tried that !!! I'm going to have to try and think of a new way... It really jitters when I animate it as well !!!

So next question...

without using passes or Post work... does anyone know of a way to make an atmosphere around the earth glow ????

I've turned everything down to zero in the noise !!!!

I can't do the glow in post... it all has to be done in one render !!!! so I kinda need to find a solution for this !!!!

thanks anyway

You have to deactivate the "Glow noise".
But, try to do the glows in postproduccion. The result is always much better than the glow solution from inside XSI.
