Hello everyone,
I'm just shooting out in the air here to see what other people do (who
mainly are windows based).
I haven't (to be honest ) tested the server install with XSI yet.
Mainly because I think it would use a lot of bandwidth when everyone
is also launching their application from a server install, or am I
wrong here? Before I've always been working with companys that had a
sysadmin or a TD that would know these things... well... moving back
to a small country this is no longer the case :)
So I was wondering what peoples thoughts are? At the moment I'm doing
a local install on 3 machines and 10 renderslaves, which can take some
time. My guess is that server install would make this easier, but is
there anything special to think about? will I have the same problem as
having workgroups on a server instead of localy?
