That would be me. ;-)
To scale the view in only X or Y just hold down Shift (constrain) and
drag the MMB horizontally or vertically.

miss the function from 4.2 so scale the view in Y.
Before you could use the S + MMB to do that, which now doesn't seem to
work anymore.
Any suggestions?
