S+Shift+MMB

...or C+RMB ...or put down your beer and bind the "Pan & Zoom in Y tool"
to hotkey of your choice ...or stop asking for things like consistent S
key navigation across all editor views. ;-)

Mr. McPherson... what did you think? that we as animators will easily
adapt this new way of thinking? We can only adapt new kinds of beer
fast... functions in a application takes longer time :)

That aside, which key do you mean that I should hold down in conjuction
with Shift and MMB? I can't seem to get the same behavior as before, now
it more resembles how it is in Shake... which I...
don't like so much...
