Subject : Duplicating and Constraining a 2D Chain

I wish to create a jscript that duplicates an entire 2D chain and pose constrains the relevant bones to the original bones, so that the duplicated chain has identical movement to the original.

I would like the script to work for a number of chains.

Obviously the duplication is not a problem. My main issue is trying to constrain the bones.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction.
