Hi people,
I just installed XSI 5.0.1 but I hade same problem.
My configuration:
HP Workstation xw4200
P4 3.60GHz
4GB Ram (Windows 32 show me 3.25GB :(at) )
WindowsXP 32bit SP2
NVIDIA Quadro FX 1400 PCI Express x16
Bios version 5.41.02.17.24
Drivers version 77.82
Double monitor.
Supplemental language support
Installed files for complex script and right-to-left lenguages
(including Thai)
Installed files for East Asian langiages
I really don't know what to think I'm drained of energy...

No problems here, I tested it with the new 5.0.1 and everything worked
fine. my install is
WindowsXP 32Bit, Athlon64 3500+, Geforce 6800GT, XSI 5.0.1 32Bit

XSI will crash.
If you try to subdivide cube with 24 steps in U V and Base, XSI doesn't
crash.
It happens only while backing VertexColor, not with RenderMaps.
I already found a workaround, but I would like to know how to avoid
crash...
Some pople had this problem ? XSI Bug ?
