an easy way to mirror shape is to create a weight map for a full shape (i.e. both eyes blinking) then use the modulate shape with weight map command to iso the shape on one half to limit the effect. Create another weight map with the opposite influence to account for the other side and hook it up..

All you need to do is duplicate the original full shape once and then hook each weight map to both copies.. freeze the relationship to bake changes, or duplicate the shape with weight map to finalize your changes and rid yourself of the weight map..

Hi

Does anyone have a script for mirroring shapes that works in xsiV5. None of the scripts I?ve found on either xsinet or xsi base seem to work anymore. Or is there some cunning way of doing this in 5 without resorting to the work of some clever scipt writer (which I?m not)?

Cheers

John
