64bit hazzles / Was: AVI Capture

Ok, I just tried the setup on one of our 32bit installations and that 
one behaves just fine. So, modifying my initial question, since I 
experience quite a few minor but still uncomfortable issues like this 
one using the 64bit version of XSI, is it just me or does the 64bit 
version feel a bit shaky at other places as well?
