bah! screw health!
living in a city where a lot of people seem to spend 4hours/day in the gym while driving to work
and you can barely find youghurt at the grocer that has ANY FAT AT ALL in it but 69 flavours of
absolutely 100% fat free, i am really starting to appreciate places that have a less la-la
relationship with nutrition. man! they even sell fat free cheese - how's that supposed to work?!?
and, coming from a cold place myself, where food featuring cheese and potatos is equally popular,
i'm also thinking it just has to do with people needing a bit more energy to keep from freezing
to death, for which all this fat and carbs are just the right thing.
