Subject : Points snap to a axis & Mental Ray
Hello, I got two things I wanted to ask is there a way to get points
to snap on a XY axis. I have tried snapping with a reference plane
does not work as I expected, instead of having to manually move points
I can select a set and just run a snap and there all even on a XY\YX
axis. Another thing as Mental ray calculates shaders down the tree the
more shaders it passes though before it hits the material does it
"degrade" in a way. I have found if I skip (sometimes) a phong or a
lambert shader and just go straight into the surface of the material
my outcome is better!

Thank You
Christopher
