I'm not overly sure i understand your question. If you want the polygon to
be flat on an axis you could select a vertice, copy it's translation value
for the desired axis then paste it for all of the other vertices...thisthe
polygone will be flat on the axis you want and aligned a tthe position that
you want. You could also fiddle with the deform tools.
I'm sur ethis could turn out to be tedious, maybe some of the more
technically incline dpeople on the list could have a quicker way for you.
I've never actually had to do this before though...

Anyone know if there is a way that I can have selected polygons and
make them flat. Instead of tweaking which won't get it perfectly flat
on any X\Y\Z axis?
Example: You have a sphere and some of those polygons you want flat on
that sphere. Hard edges just makes well the edges hard.
