You might try checking the size of your log files if you want to clutch at
straws. Otherwise, keep a check on the process activity. You can do this

sorry, a little late on this.
We had this problem and it *was* the log file. It was 20 megs in size or
something, which is pretty big for a text file. Clearing it out sorted
the problem.
