Hey Raff - you guys gave gentoo a swing right? What couldn't you get working? I've had maya, xsi, realflow and shake all running on the same gentoo box no problems.

we've had to stick with FC3 here because it seems to be the only middle
ground right now where we can run everything, but other then that I have
to say it's by far the worst distro I've worked on insofar.
