All,
This subject came up
recently on xsibase so i thought i'd let everyone know - we are making our
renderfarm available for commercial hire.
Seems to be a lack
of XSI support out there so - see a need etc...
Its small right now
(but effecient!), IBM xSeries rackmounts, 36 Xeon processors, 2gb ram per
machine - but we're having a major install in the near
future.
Currently supports
XSI up to v5.01. For crossover, we also support Maya and are adding Renderman
soon.
For an indication of
speed, we recently did a job - 150,000 frames at 3.5k res, some scenes with over
a gig of textures, plus Luma shaders etc. in about 2
weeks.
Anyone wanting more
info can give be a buzz on the details below, but well be making an official
announcement sometime soon.
