Subject: image data embeds in mi files

Has anyone come across this? I'm generating mi files and sometimes, although not always, the image data gets embedded in the mi2 files making huge - 70 meg plus - files for relatively simple geometry. james nailed it down to cropped images  in one instance but I'm also getting it in uncropped tga files. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the images, no layers, 8 bit, yadda.

I've also had a problem with .map files generated using imgconv not displaying properly as textures. They load with stupidly high resolution and show as no-icon when i force a load.

I've worked around these by using bmp files so I don't need a solution right now but I was curious to see if anyone else had seen anything like it.
