Growing hairs?

Subject : Growing hairs?

Hey, Is it possible to animte the length of hairs in XSI so it appears to grow in length, while maintaining the hair dynamics? Applying a scale op to the hair wont work because the dynamics op override it.

Any suggestions / work-arounds / other approaches would be much appreciated!
