As far as I know, the only way to force XSI to use a particular version on
your machine would be to edit the registry to remove the COM registration
of the version that you don't want it to use. Unfortunately, this would
also affect any other programs trying to use Python, and would be pretty
much the same as uninstalling it. So there's not much point. :-)

Of course I could be wrong since there might be something specific to
Python, but that's my best guess.
