Apparently, you should use tracking markers as well.

I would be happy if the cameras store accurate lens information per
frame, that *truly* would help us.
About camera position and orientation, you are going to need an
incredible accuracy when dealing with certain shots, therefore i am not
expecting this to happen anytime soon.
