Several machines render the specific scene with different subregion areas.

That means: MR renders a pictures devided in 3 x 2 subregions = 6 pictures.

yes, so how will RR spread a picture on several machines?
XSI doesn't do that automatically; to my knowledge the automation of the
process is possible but it needs some customization work
