Thanks Kim I’ll keep that in mind. I’m trying to get around the problem by constraining bones to guide hairs at the moment, it should somewhat to do the same thing you suggested I guess. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Not directly as in si3D. I use a bunch of non-renderable cubes attached with hinges or ball and socket joints. It used to be a bit pernickity but I think it all got worked out. If you have problems shout out. I've had a lot of success with them.

Excuse my ignorance but I could’ve sworn you could apply dynamics to ik chains in XSI… Like in good ol’ Soft|3D, Actor > Dynamics…

 

Can’t seem to find any reference of this for XSI anywhere…  Is there ?
