You can use "Store animated parameters" as your keyable param should
be animated :-).
I imagine that now the "Store Marked parameters" is used to store
"specific parameters" in all the "keyable/keyed ones". Maybe Softimage
will had a "Store Marked and keyable but not animated parameters" ;-)

I really like the new workflow with keyable parameters, but there are
some considerations to make.
Even tough it is workable, not all the functions on XSI are made
to work
with them. You can change
the default save key hotkey to use keyable parameters instead of
marked
ones. Thats OK.
But not when every object in XSI gets created with its SRT as
keyable,
also roots and effectors of chains.
or objects that are not meant to be keyable on a rig. Ok its up to
me to
remove those parameters as keyable,
but i think it should be an option to create objects without keyable
parameters.
Also another part that i havent found out how to do it quickly is to
store an action in a clip using the keyable
parameters. Am im missing something. its a bit tedious to mark
whatever
parameters i want to use.
A workaround would be to have also marking sets along with the keyable
parameters but, the issue with this
is that this marking sets also appear on the keyable parameters
panel. I
know i can turn off custom parameters
visibility in the panel, but if i have custom parameters of my own, i
want to see them only those and not
convolute [is that right??] my keying panel with lots of marking sets.
Correct any of my observations if im wrong on any, please.
So is there a way to mark my keyable parameters on several objects in
one easy way? or do i have to make
some kind of script and do one button?
Thanks.
