XSI linux and Python

Subject : XSI linux and Python

Just curious to get a sample if anyone has been running XSI linux and scripting in Python. From my experience, jscript on linux had some oddities and caveats as compared to windows. Does XSI's Python implementation on linux have any oddities as well, or is it smooth sailing?
