I don't suppose there is an "easy" way to do some clever scripted operator so that the new coordinates of each mesh file is read in at the new frame?  Like how realflow updates its meshes in XSI.  I hope that made sense!

Here is a script in jscript that gives 2 options.

1. To import the sequence as a shape animated sequence

2. To import the sequence with keyframed visibility on each frame

Subject: .obj sequence import

Hello,

Has anyone written an obj importing script that will import an obj sequence that will update based on the frame number at rendertime? I know there is the obj sequence addon in the netview but this imports the entire sequence into the scene. I cannot just animate the visibility because the files are quite large. I am hoping someone can save me some time with this one since my scripting skills are not up to the task.

Thanks!
