I am deep in the manuals checking into this but I figured I would post
and make sure that
it is even possible. I am using the toon shader to shade a growing vine
and leaf object
what I need to do is this.
1. apply a texture (leaf) to the leaf object and have that influence the
toon shading.
2. have the alpha channel of the leaf texture cutout the object so that
instead of being
a grid obviously it would have the shape of the leaf and the toon
shading would not still
be a rectangle.
not sure if this is even doable or if i'm bette off just building
geometry leaves.
