If the pages were grids then I would certainly have used front_back, but the paper needs to have some thickness, hence using subdee cubes.  Cheers tho Bryan : )

Hey Olly,

Try using the front_back node (located under nodes/switch)

Subject: deformation motion blur blacks out cluster materials

Hi folks,

I’m animating pages of a book (using IK chains) and so need to check ‘Deformation Motion blur”.  Only trouble is that the cluster material on the B side of the pages goes black - huh ?!?!

I can workaround this by making a texture for A and B sides in one image and redoing texture projections, but wondered if anyone else has found this? is there a fix?  Or is it just another case of avoid cluster materials at all costs!

Cheers,

 Olly xxx
