Thanks for the clarification there Andre. I noticed the weld was wonky as well so I just used the move tool with weld points. That didnt make the uv's weird out on my end.....but it sure was a lot of clicking :D I'll definitly investigate your 2 suggestions. Thanks!

Sorry Wayne,
But cutting seas in XSI is mistake. You do eithe of the following:
1. Apply texture projection in XSI and export and use Unfold#d to cortrect the Uvs 2. Export the model to Unfold3D and as OBJ and use the edge tools to determine where the seams will go, unfold and import back to XSI.
If you cut the model in XSI, it will screw things up when you reweld the seams.

No chris, you dont. Build your model in xsi. cut its seams. export the obj with uv/material options toggled off. import the obj in unfold 3d. press the shiny unwrap button. export obj. import obj back in xsi. That's it. If you are getting problems somewhere along the line....go back stage 1 and start over because it really is that simple.

body:In unfold3d you have to export the pelted mesh into XSI then transfer the texture cord from the flat pelted texture cord to your unpelted mesh?
