Hi Adrian,

1. Put all parameters that you intend to key on an object into a MarkingSet (Animation > Parameters > Create Marking Set or Ctrl+Shift+M). Do this for all objects that you wish to key.
2. Group these objects to your liking.
3. To key all parameters in all MarkingSets of all objects in such a group: select the group, Select > Select Members / Components ( SelectMembers( ); ) and then use either Animation > Set Key Using Marking Set (set a keyboard shortcut if you like) or first activate the MarkingSet Parameters (Ctl+M) and then key them all (K).

Hope that helps...
Cheers!
Markus

Folks,

I'm having another LW->XSI transitioning problem here.  I'd like to be able to group marked parameters of different objects in such a way that I can simply select that group, and set keyframes on all its members with the K key.

For example, I have a character, I'd like to group all the ARM parameters together under one group, and all the LEG paramerters under another, EYE's under another so I can go about setting key poses for either group, all in one go, while seeing how they relate to each other.  Lightwave never had that functionality, but a plugin called Keytrak by Mark Brown added it.  Keytrak made animation so much faster than having to select individual objects then their channels before you can key..

How can I achieve the same functionality in XSI?  I must be missing something, I'm sure its possible without delving into scripting.

Thanks in advance,

Adrian L.
