Someone helped me out with this problem a short while ago.

Get a couple of simple objects, run the Merge operator.

Open an Explorer and select Application rather than Scene Root (top left).

Expand Scene Defaults->Operators and open the Merge meshes Op. Set tolerance to 0.

Now select the objects you actually want to merge and apply the Merge op., this default setting will stick.

Adam.

Hi,

Does someone know of a script or pref that will setup XSI to allow Dialog-
box's and Prop Editors to remember the last used parameters and hold them
for the next access. Ex. I'd like to set the "Poly-Merge/Merge-Mesh"
Tolerance to 0 thus avoiding long delays waiting for unwanted blend
possibilities that the default Tolerance of .5 produces.

TIA

Paul
