My problem is that the expressions are not even having any effect on the
poviot translation value. It remains at 0,0,0.
We really need to bwe able to key these translation values. It works
fine it I use the sliders in the PPG.
Any suggestions?

Yeah, be careful of that though, I was trying this at some point and ran
into problems.
If you drive the pivot values with expressions, then transform the
object, XSI sticks values in the compensation params ( right next the
the pivot params in the kine ppg ). This alters the previous values
that you were working with. I tried a few things to lock the
compensation parameters out, but XSI always seemed to overwrite the
values my expressions/keys/whatever were feeding in (admittedly I didn't
invest too much time, though).
