Hi Tim,

I'd suggest doing a cubic QTVR instead. There is no spherical mapping QTVR (at least internally in the QTVR - you guessed it - because of software patents - because spherical mapping definitely meets the "non-obvious" criteria).

Anyway - back to the issue. I just used a camera rig made of 6 square images all at 90 degrees apart. Then you can just import said camera into a scene and render a pass of 6 frames and create a VR with them using a program like goCubic.

This is by far the best quality way to output a QTVR because you're render pretty much directly into the format it's stored in internally so there is much less loss of quality compared with programs which convert a spherical map to a cubic QTVR.

Cheers,

Alan.

Is there an *artsy type* way of loading those
into XSI?

Cheers
