Hey no jokes about my antenae! ;0

I thought soft bodies only deform when they collied with something or react to a force? Can they also be used for secondary motion?

Hi Helen,

You could try using motion capture. Unfortunately that option isn't available to all of us ;-)

Seriously though take a look at the soft bodies in XSI.

cheers,

Alan.

Yeh, thought that would get your attention. :)

I'm looking for some advice on secondary motion. There are a couple of
tuts on xsibase, but they are both dead links.
Can anyone enlighten me on setting up simple wobbly bits in xsi?

I'm curently using springs and tails, but what I really want is
something akin to 'Flex' in 3DSMax.
Is there some kind of vertex level modifier that makes clusters (boobs
for example, or antenae) jiggle about without using bones?

    Cheers.
