I agree.. though i think it was also pointing out that NEITHER had an exporter which has to be the weirdest thing for AE to ship with an importer but no exporter..

i searched for a couple of weeks on this to try and find a fix... but nothing..

if i am working with stills.. i remind myself to render out targas or the like.

AE on the mac should be able to import pic sequences just fine.We do it all
the time here. I tried the old Mac PS plugin recently and it doesn't seem to
work with the newer Macs, it may have not been updated since OSX. I find it
weird that Adobe ships AE with a Soft importer but not PS? We are still on
Photoshop CS and AE 6.5 here as a side note.

Quick question,

is it possible for the photoshop filter that allows Photoshop and more
importantly After Effects, to read and write to Softimage .pic format, to
work on the Mac ??

I use it all the time on my PC, but my client who works on a Mac. Can't
get it to work in After Effects at all.

If you do know, can you let me know what folder you have put it in, so I
can pass the information on
