That's the kind of thing Quantel do. The last one they fought was to do with
placing a value in a framebuffer. No kidding. (they lost).

My opinion, they'd have been a lot better figuring out how to un-premultiply
CG imagery for a decent composite than scrapping around in the courts after
lost causes. 

I believe they're now applying to patent dropping the ball. They are the
experts after all.
