Hi Luc-Eric,
Stephen Blair already gave me some hints, I inadvertently answered directly so the messages were not published in this mailing list.
What I want to implement is a generic graphical tree (like the rendertree) in a dialog window. That tree can represent everything - from scene objects to non scene objects (it will be up to the user to populate it with nodes and edges and setting up event handlers using commands/scripting). In another tool I like to integrate some sort of graphical equalizer. I know how to do it in MFC, creating custom controls, etc.
I am just curious if there is a way to add those custom ui elements directly to a ppg for example. If that is not possible I could of course create my own dialog by a custom command (in c++) of course.
The tutorial html page I referred to, just sounds interesting to me, but it is currently not online (pdfs and zips work fine, but no html, looks like an issue with the cms)...

Cheers
Kai Wolter

Subject: custom UI elements in XSI

Hi, I am searching for a way to add custom controls (ui items) to a ppg or dialog. I thought the "Adding a Custom Interface to XSI" tutorial in the Softimage Tutorial Bank (v3) would be useful, but the link does no longer work (http://www.softimage.com/education/learning_resources/tutoria ls/webTutorials/XSI_3_0/Custom_Interface/default.htm). Has anybody a copy or another link to that document?

Thanks in advance,
Kai Wolter
