This might be a false alarm but I thought I'd mention it to see if
anyone else got this problem:
The first scene i opened in v5.1 worked fine for a while until suddenly
the explorer stopped working. I dragged a few objects onto another to
parent them, but nothing happened., so I closed the explorer and opened
a new one only to find that according to the explorer, the objects were
no longer in the scene. I tried selecting them to frame them in the
explorer but nothing .... Restarted xsi and It's working now... weird!!!
