Hey Marc. I've plotted syflex many time using moving objects that the cloth is attached to. Obvious question.. Is your syNail parented to the object.

What construction mode are you in when you plot the sim, and more importantly what construction mode is the cloth Op in? Shape should be over the Syflex operator, so it can read it to shape. If I know I am going to plot Syflex, I'll store the cloth op in shape modeling mode.

The new tools with Syflex allow you to set cloth initial state and reset velocities, so the need for baking pre-roll into your shapes is somewhat moot, though I guess it depends what version of XSI you're on over in the windy city.
