Oh Harry,

that did it. Converting to LDR (I used hdrshop) does it.

Now I get really clean results, spread 1, 128x64px 8bitLDR,
128 samples, exposure here -1, Ambience 1/1/1, 1 Minute.

Yepp, 1 Minute. Thanks Harry. I would have given up.

This character isn´t animated btw. I´m playing with it in my
sparetime, modeling folds into his underwear whenever I can
find an excuse not to do what I´m supposed to...

Your trick will help me alot thought, it´s great to know you
can kick of fast turntable render that will look great when
you come back from the DVD rental/lunchbreak. Off I go!
