ok, i have the exact same stuff going on here.
in my case its not related to clusters thoug, because i dont have
them. when i export the object from 5.1 to 4.2 it starts instantly
with the render. reimorting it in 5.1 and it gets stuck again when i
try to render.
the mysterious thing is that it actually hangs BEFORE the render
starts. nothing happens. the BSP tree has no influence. all the render
settings affect the rendering but it hangs before that.
i cant import the obj files into 4.2 it crashes or goes to sleep while
5.1 does a great job at this.
