well like in maya we can make a blend shape and then just subtract that blend shape from the original mesh and link it with the joint on which we want to get the deformation.
 
so as i was doing R&D in XSI i found out about store shape key and select  shape key. so can we get the same kind of result in XSI uising shape keys like we get in Maya. using Pose Space Deformations.
i hope i am making some sense.
